BROOME COUNTY (WENY) --  Authorities seized more than a pound and a half of meth, 45 guns, and over $30,000 in an investigation dubbed "Operation Crystal Ball".

Police had been tracking a seven-person drug ring since early 2011.  The people involved are accused of moving about two to three pounds of meth every three weeks from Mexico to different parts of the U.S., including the Twin Tiers.

Five of those seven people live around the Twin Tiers, and were sent to local jails in Broome, Tioga, Chenango and Onondaga counties.
