Woodhull Man Injures Kids in Crash
TOWN OF WOODHULL (WENY)-- A Woodhull man is facing charges for driving his car into a tree and injuring two children and an adult.
According to the Steuben County Sheriff's office, Ronald Jeffers, 42, who was allegedly intoxicated, crashed his car head-on into a tree on Mead Road in the Town of Woodhull.
His 10-year-old son, 12-year-old nephew were in the car and both were treated for minor injuries at Corning Hospital. Another adult, Roger Watson, 31, was taken to Robert Packer, where deputies say he's listen in serious condition.
The driver, Ronald Jeffers was taken to Corning hospital and released into the custody. Jeffers is charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated while having a child less than 15 years of age in the vehicle and a slew of other charges.
He was sent to the Steuben County Jail on $25,000 bail.
