ELMIRA HEIGHTS -- Police are investigating a death at the Hess Gas Station on the Miracle Mile.

According to WENY-TV's media partner the Star-Gazette, Chemung County sheriff deputies were called to the gas station for reports of a man in distress inside a vehicle.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Hospital officials told deputies that a medical issue caused the death.

Police are releasing no other details at this time.
