ELMIRA HEIGHTS -- [WENY] Easter's right around the corner. And a local egg farm is making sure those in need have eggs not only to eat, but for easter eggs too.
     Kreher's farm fresh eggs donated more than 36,000 eggs to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
     It's part of a national movement by the United Egg Producers. U.S. egg farmers are donating nearly 9 million eggs throughout the country. The food bank is thrilled, and say eggs are a perfect donation because they're high in protein.
     "We do this because we wanna support the local communities that we farm in and giving giving back to the communities is one of our missions and our values if we support our local communities our local communities will support us," said Jeanette Kreher, who is fourth generation in the Kreher family.
     Jeanette says this is one of three stops. The others are by Syracuse and Rochester.
