Northern Tier Woman Killed In Crash

TOWANDA, PA (WENY)---A Monroeton woman is dead after the pick-up truck she was drving crashed with an R.V. in Towanda.

Police say 79 year old Janet Brown was killed when she went through a stop sign at the intersection of Routes 220 and 2027 about 6:45 Tuesday night, and hit the R.V.

The R.V. went down an embankment, and the people inside weren't hurt.
