CORNING, NY (WENY)---Corning's Centerway bridge will be closed starting Wednesday. That's because renovations are underway.

The pedestrian bridge connects the Gaffer District with the Corning Museum of Glass area. Renovations are expected to be completed in Fall 2013.

The bridge will remain closed until renovations are completed. Pedestrians can still cross the river by using the Brisco Bridge.
