Woman Accused of Stealing from Charity

     OWEGO, NY (WENY) -- A Broome County woman is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from an Owego charity for youth.
      The Tioga County Sheriff's Office charged 43-year-old Valerie Demkovich of Endicott with third degree Grand Larceny. Demkovich was an employee of the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club in Owego - she's accused of making nearly $11,000 dollars of personal purchases on the charity's credit card.
     She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance.
