    CHEMUNG COUNTY (WENY) -- People in Chemung county have saved big bucks on prescription drugs over the last three years, thanks to the county's prescription discount card program.
     The no-cost discount card helps people who have little or no prescription coverage to get medicines at a lower price. Cardholders can save up to 20-percent on brand names, and up to 70-percent on generics. Local pharmacies have filled 21,000prescriptions under the program since it started.
