HAMMONDSPORT, NY (WENY-TV)---America's coolest small town is gearing up for a special day commemorating the honor this weekend.

A village-wide celebration in Hammondsport goes all day long, with live music, activities for kids, a parade, and fireworks at night this Saturday.

Festivities in the Village Square are from 12 until 6 p.m. Fireworks will end the celebration at 10:30 p.m. Free parking is available at Pleasant Valley Wine Company with free shuttles operating continously from 11 until 7.
