CORNING (WENY)--- Corning Incorporated announced the launch of Corning Willow Glass.

On Monday, the company announced the launch of the ultra-slim flexible glass, something they say can revolutionize the shape and form of next-generation electronic technologies.

According to the company, the glass allows thin, light and cost-effective applications for today's thin smartphone surfaces. It can also be processed at very high temperatures- up to 500 degrees.

The company made the announcement today at the an industry tradeshow in Boston for Society for Information Display's Display Week.
