Barton Double Shooting

June 12, 2012

Barton (WENY) - Neighbors are shocked in a Barton community after two men
were stabbed and the suspect fled the scene. Police arrested the suspect in
Sayre, but not before he injured two officers. Jeremy Frisbie is in
Pennsylvania Police custody at the Bradford County jail accused of stabbing
two people across the state border in Barton. It happened last night in a
quiet neighborhood off middle road. Lynn Parmalee says her kids were too
scared to sleep in their home. She lives two doors down from the house where
two people were stabbed last night. Police say after stabbing two people,
Frisbie fled the scene running through a corn field and hiding out in the
woods until he was eventually picked up and driven to Pennsylvania.

Police were told that Frisbee went to Olive St. in Sayre. When they got
there, officers heard what sounded like a gun shot and saw a man fitting
Frisbie's description coming out of a home. Frisbie ran away, through back
yards, then broke into a home on Linden St. to hide. Police searched the
home, and found Frisbie. He resisted and injured two officers before being
arrested.

"It's crazy to know it can happen a couple of houses down from you, when
your loved ones at home while your at work and there's nothing you can do,"
says Parmalee.

Frisbie is charged in Pennsylvania with Burglary, Escape, Aggravated Assault, Fleeing the
Scene, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
