One Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Corning

CORNING, NY (WENY) -- One person is dead after two motorcycles ran into an SUV overnight in East Corning.
New York State police say the bikers were speeding and ran a red light on Route 352, at Bridge Road, when they hit the SUV around 12:40AM.
The driver of the first motorcycle, 21-year-old Gregory Riffi of Lindley, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other motorcycle driver, 41-year-old Scott Cornish of Corning, suffered massive injures. He's in Robert Packer Hospital in critical condition. The driver of the SUV was not injured.
Route 352 between the Gibson Bridge and Fairway Drive was shut down for several hours for accident reconstruction and scene cleanup.
