Elmira (WENY) - Neighbors near grove park in Elmira are starting to see the new pavilion take shape. The pavilion was destroyed in a fire two years ago. It was a popular spot for community events, and an icon in the neighborhood. Grownups and kids like Tessa Walker are looking forward to getting the pavilion back.

“I like having birthday parties here and the spot program was always fun, its just fun.”

The park will also get New playground equipment. The entire project should be finished by late fall.
