HORSEHEADS (WENY)---A Horseheads man is dead after Police say his motorcycle crashed into a minivan over the weekend.

State Police say 26-year-old Rex Lehman of Horseheads collided with a Minivan on Middle Road in Horsheads after failing to properly make a right turn.

Lehman was ejected from his bike and taken to Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was pronounced dead just before 3, Saturday afternoon.

No one in the van suffered injuries. Police say driver inexperience is a contributing factor to the accident.
