Ithaca Raid Nets Drugs, Cash, Weapons
ITHACA, NY (WENY) -- Ithaca police raided a home in the city this morning, seizing drugs, cash and weapons.The search comes after an extensive investigation into drug trafficking in the area.
Police and SWAT raided the home at 202 Fourth Street in Ithaca, and recovered marijuana, crack cocaine, cash, counterfeit money and a number of illegal weapons. Authorities charged 40-year-old Mbusi Ntombela with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Weapon. He's now in the Tompkins County jail on $20,000 dollars bail.
More charges related to the counterfeit money are pending.
