Local Sign Business Giving Away Justice 4 Kelley Signs
HORSEHEADS (WENY) -- With Thomas Clayton's trial now getting underway, members of the community are showing their support for Kelley. Justice for Kelley signs have been displayed throughout many neighborhoods for well over a year and one local businesses has begun giving them away.
Last week, a customer ordered a generous amount of signs of Justice for Kelley signs from Fingerlakes Sign and Design. Store owner Josh Fuksman says it was this act of kindness and support in the community that really inspired him to begin handing the signs out free of charge.
Kelley's sister Kim is a friend of the business and has actively worked to help design these signs since they first began creating them last year.
Just in the last two days, they've made about 200 signs and says they'll continue to give them away to anyone looking to show their support.
"It really touched my heart," says Feduk of the donation. "We're only as strong as our neighbors, whether we work with them or play with them. I know she has our support, I know plenty of people who support her and her family. That's all I'm trying to do."
"We've had phone calls from Watertown this morning to as far as Georgia, so whether we have to give away a thousand signs, ten-thousand signs, that's what we're here to do," says Fuksman.
