(ELMIRA) WENY---A motorcyclist was injured Monday after crashing into an 18-wheeler.

According to our media partner, The Star Gazette, the crash happened when the motorcylist ran into the back of tractor-trailer as it was turning onto East Water Street in Elmira.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.
