Bronx Man Arrested for Drugs in Corning
CORNING, NY (WENY) -- A New York City man is Steuben County jail on drug charges, after he was caught early Tuesday morning in Corning.
Corning police say around 1:30AM, officers checked on two men sitting in a car in the area of Bridge Street and West William Street. They discovered the driver, 29-year-old Paris Wilmott of the Bronx, had a suspended license, and was on parole out of New York City without a travel pass.
When officers were arresting Wilmott, they say he tried to hide cocaine from them. He's now in Steuben County jail on $50,000 dollars bail.
The passenger wasn't charged.
