ITHACA---(WENY) Tompkins County Legislators may be seeing an increase in pay. The Star-Gazette reports legislators are considering raising their salaries to $20,000 for the 2014 term.        Currently, county legislators make $18,700, however there is also consideration of an alternative resolution that may keep lawmakers' pay at a stand still.

     A public meeting on the possible pay increase is set for 5:30 Thursday afternoon at the Tompkins County Courthouse,where residents will be able to address the legislature during the meeting.
