 CORNIG (WENY) ---Congressman Tom Reed says a pending vote in the house to extend tax cuts will impact job creation in New York.

The democratic controlled senate passed a plan that would extend payroll tax cuts to american families making 250-thousand dollars or less, and let the tax cuts expire on families making more.

Reed claims, that plan would be devastating to about a million small businesses across the country, and thousands in his district.

Reed says, "If you equate it, that means 940,00 businesses that means approximately 3000 businesses potentially in the 29th congressional district."

Democrats in congress who support the senate plan say it would save 98 percent of americans from tax increases.
