Sayre Man Hit By Semi on Route 17

       TIOGA COUNTY, NY (WENY) -- A Bradford county man is dead, after being hit by a tractor trailer on Route 17 early Tuesday morning.
      Police and rescue crews responded to reports of an accident on eastbound 17, between the Waverly and Nichols exits, around 2:30AM. The Tioga County Sheriff says 44 year old Michael Naylor of Sayre, was walking on the highway when he was hit by the truck. Naylor was pronounced dead on the scene.
    No word on any charges against the driver. Police are still investigating.
