Senator O'Mara Launches 2017 Community Survey, Wants Your Input
(WENY) - Senator Tom O'Mara is kicking off the legislative session by asking for your input on the region in an annual survey.
He's launched the 2017 Community and Legislative Survey. He invites you to share your views, concerns, and suggestions on issues facing the Southern Tier, the Finger Lakes, and New York state.
Topics include private-sector job creation, government reform, education, public safety, transportation, health care and more.
Senator O'Mara has been offering this survey since he was elected to the Senate in 2010.
“This annual online survey provides another avenue to encourage local input on a number of the key challenges and concerns facing our region and the state as a whole in 2017. I’m always grateful for the input,” said
O’Mara, “It’s not a scientific poll in any traditional sense, but it does offer meaningful and useful snapshots of what’s on the minds of area residents paying attention to state government and willing to give some thought to
the choices being debated at the Capitol.”
The 58th Senate District includes all of Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Yates counties, and part of Tompkins County (the city of Ithaca, and the towns of Enfield, Ithaca, Newfield, and Ulysses).
