ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- New developments in the case of an Elmira man accused of killing another man and getting rid of the body.
Chemung County District Attorney Weeden Wetmore says Robert Storms pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter in a plea deal. Storms was originally charged with murder, robbery and burglary in the death of 53-year-old Doug Hubbard, who was reported missing three years ago.
Police say Storms killed Hubbard by hitting him in the head with a frying pan. Wetmore says Storms agreed to tell Elmira police where Hubbard's body is.
