Tompkins Co. Legislators Get Increase In Pay

ITHACA---(WENY) The Tompkins County Legislature will get a 2% pay increase.That bumps up the annual pay from $18,700 to $19,075 a year. Also, Martha Robertson has been re-elected as the Tompkins County Legislature Chair for the fourth year in a row, along with Mike Lane, elected as Vice Chair.

Additionally, the legislature approved funding for the gun buy-back program that will take place tomorrow in Ithaca. The legislature will use up to $10,000 in seized assets to fund the program.

The next meeting for the Tompkins County Legislature is set for January 15th.
