Traffic Stop Ends in Drug Bust in Ithaca
ITHACA, NY (WENY) -- A traffic stop early Sunday morning in Ithaca ended in a drug bust.
Police pulled a car over on West Seneca Street, and say the people inside were disruptive and resisted. Police say one of the people in the car, 32-year-old Lanard Davis of Rochester, tried to hide drugs and contraband in the car, and they arrested him. He also allegedly tried to hide the drugs during booking at the police department.
Police tell us they found over four ounces of cocaine, and 209 bags of heroin. Davis is now in the Tompkins County jail without bail, charged with second degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.
