CORRECTION:  Alleged crime did not occur at a church.

SCHUYLER COUNTY---(WENY) Opening statements are set to begin this morning in the trial of 62-year-old Daryl Vonneida of Dix. Vonneida is accused of sexually abusing four boys in the summer of 2011. Authorities say he pretended to kill the boys, asked them to play dead and forced them to touch themselves. Vonneida faces a slew of county and federal abuse and pornography charges. He already has three sex abuse convictions going back to 1970.
