     NORTH TOWANDA, PA (WENY) -- A car crash this morning killed a man from Troy.
      The crash happend around 10:30 Wednesday morning on Route 6, at Lynch Road in North Towanda. State police say 50 year old James Eicher of Troy was heading westbound, when he tried to pass several cars. One of the cars he was trying to pass turned left onto Lynch Road; Eicher side-swiped that car, hit a snow bank and guard rail, going airborne and rolling down a ravine into a creek.
    Eicher was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bradford County coroner says Eicher was not wearing a seatbelt. The death has been ruled accidental; a routine toxicology report will be performed.
     The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
