Weekend Animal Cruelty Charges
ELMIRA--[WENY]--Two more people have been charged in Elmira after leaving their dogs in hot cars.
31-year-old Susan Brockway from Bath left her dog in the car on Sunday.
Elmira Animal Control arrived 55 minutes later to rescue the dog, as the cars temperature inside the car exceeded 125 degrees.
Brockway was Visiting her friend on the 300 block of West Water.
She was charge with one count of animal cruelty.
And on Saturday, 33-year-old Jesse Johnson from Pine City was charged with two counts of animal cruelty.
Two of his dogs where left in in a car while he was inside the Walmart in Horseheads.
