     (WENY) -- The 75-watt incandescent light bulb as we know it is going away.
      Manufacturers will be phasing out the 75-watt bulb beginning December 31st, in line with new federal efficiency standards.The 100-watt bulb was phased out earlier this year, and in 2013, we'll see the end of 60 and 40-watt bulbs.
     According to Consumer Reports, a 17 watt LED light is as bright as a incandescent 75-watt bulb.
