Grown In New York Strategy Aims To Help Farmers
ALBANY---(WENY) State Senator Tom O'Mara and other members of the State Senate announced a plan yesterday, designed to keep New York Farmers above water.
Tuesday, Senator O'mara unveiled 'Jobs and Progress Grown In New York.' It's a plan lawmakers believe will keep New York's Agriculture industry competitive for the next generation. O'Mara says the state can't risk its farmer's being taxed, regulated and priced out of business.
New York's 36,000 farm families help to make the state's $5.2 billion dollar agricultural industry a national leader.
