NHL Lockout Update; Honors for CU's Haber and SU's MCW; Mansfield Clinic Info
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Michael Carter-Williams earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after posting his fourth consecutive double-double in the Orange victory against Monmouth. Carter-Williams dished out a career-high 16 assists against the Hawks, which ranks third on SU's all-time list behind Sherman Douglass (22) and Pearl Washington (18).
MANSFIELD, PA. –Looking for the perfect Christmas gift for your favorite baseball player? Due to popular demand, the Mansfield University baseball program will host 7 sessions of its Christmas Baseball Clinics this year, including a Mini Camp option for those seeking a more intensified experience. A long-time stocking stuffer tradition, the 7 sessions are broken down into age groups of 5/6, 7/8, 9-11,12-14 and 15-18 are offered Dec. 28, 29, 30. Registration for all clinics will be held in Decker Gym. Indoor facilities include Decker Gym and the Kelchner Fitness Center.
Under the direction of long-time Mountaineer Head Coach Harry Hillson, Assistant Baseball Coach Andy Chalot, Mansfield High School Baseball Coach Matt Perry and the Mountaineer baseball team, the clinics have proven to be one of the most popular post-Christmas activities for area baseball players.
The cost for each three-hour clinic is $40 per player. The full day Mini Camp is $80. Registration is available by calling Harry Hillson at 570-404-2632. Call for team rates.
