Mansfield MBB Opens Season; EC Men's Hockey Honored and Cornell's Whitney Goes West

MEN'S COLLEGE BBALL (D-II)

Mansfield 100, Roberts-Wesleyan 64

Elmira College's Liam Burtt and Michael Collins were honored by the ECAC West as the Rookie of the Week and Player of the Week, respectively.

Former Cornell hockey stand-out Sean Whitney was claimed off waivers by the ECHL's San Francisco Bulls. Whitney had previously played 7 games this season for the Florida Everblades before being waived by Florida earlier this week.
