Child Porn Laws Move to Corbett

December 13, 2013
Harrisburg (WENY) - Sitting on Pennsylvania Governor's desk this morning are bills to strengthen child abuse protection laws in the state. Wednesday Pennsylvania's General Assembly voted for upgrades to the states child protection laws.

Three bills, including a pivotal piece redefining what child abuse mean in the eyes of the law, are expected to get to Corbett next week. One Bill states all accusations would have to be reported and investigated and school officials would not be allowed from entering into confidential settlement agreements with teachers accused of wrongdoing. All five bills received unanimous votes in the state Senate.
