NEW YORK CITY (WENY)---Google announced Monday they're giving Cornell University some free office space while campus construction gets underway.

Cornell University has access to 22,000 square feet of the company's New York City headquarters while the University completes its campus on Roosevelt Island.

The University will be provided the space free of charge for five and half years starting on July first.

And it's the gift that keeps on giving, Cornell will be able to expand to 58,000 square feet over five years as it continues to build New York City. The gift is worth about 10 million dollars.
