Today, residents around the campus will hold a vigil to honor the late coach. It will be held at a downtown mural which shows a depiction Coach Paterno.A family spokesperson says the family will not take part in the memorial vigil. Coach Joe Paterno was fired from the university because he failed to notify police of an allegation of sexual misconduct involving Sandusky and a student back in 2002.
