Gas Drilling Company Files Chapter 11

      ALBANY --- A natural gas drilling company that counted on drilling in the Marcellus Shale in New York filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, as the state continues to look at the environmental and health impacts.
     Norway-based Norse Energy announced its U.S. subsidiary, based in Western New York, filed for Chapter 11.
      Norse has 130,000 acres leased in New York, which has been under a deep-shale fracking moratorium since 2008.
