New Legislation For Wrongway Driving

(WENY)--- If you find yourself giving into bouts of road rage, speeding, and aggressive driving on the road, you may want to take a chill-pill before you wind up behind bars.
That's because the New York Senate passed legislation yesterday carrying much stiffer penalties for wrong way and reckless driving.
They now carry felony charges, meaning up to 4 years in prison. It also applies to people driving 30 miles an hour over the speed limit.
The new legislation would also make reckless driving a class a misdemeanor with up to a year in prison.
