January 15, 2014
ALBANY, NY (WENY) -- In her State of the University address Tuesday, SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher promised to increase SUNY's paid internships.
She says she'll personally work with the chief executive officers at the state's largest companies to fulfill that promise.
She says she's looking for 100 percent participation from New York's Fortune 500 companies in the SUNY Works initiative meant to better prepare students of the public university system for the workplace.
