Ithaca Lacrosse back in NYS Class A Finals

Ithaca outlasted the number one team in the state Fairport, handing them their first loss of the season, 11-9. With the win, the Little Red advance to their second consecutive NYS Class A Championship and will play Long Island's West Islip Saturday afternoon in Middletown. Gametime will be at 1:30 in the afternoon Saturday, with Ithaca in search of winning its first state lacrosse title in school history. Plus, the Elmira Pioneers drop their season opener on the road to Albany 2-1.
