ITHACA, NY (WENY) - United Airlines is bringing jet service to the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport.
Currently, United Airlines flies 37-seat turboprop planes out of the airport. Beginning in October, they'll start flying 50-seat jets to accommodate increase passenger demand at the airport.
“We are very excited that when United Airlines commences its jet service this fall, all of our air service at Ithaca will be with jets, providing a better experience for our customers,” says Mike Hall, Director of Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport.
Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport will now have an all-jet service to each of its three hubs, Philadelphia, Newark, and Detroit.
