CORNING, NY (WENY) -- A planned safe house for victims of sex trafficking is nearing completion. The local organization spear-heading the effort, "The Potter's Hands Foundation," is currently holding a calendar sale to help raise money for the project.

There are two types of calendars available; one features the Corning area and surrounding region, and the second is a scriptures calendar.

Each calendar is $15.00 and benefits the efforts to launch the new safe home. And the calendars are designed by a local photographer!

"Any of the money raised, because we're nearing the end of our construction project, will be used for operational expenses and hiring staff and paying salaries
and all of those kinds of things," says Deborah Kuehner, Executive Director of The Potter's Hands Foundation.
