Second person indicted in connection to Horseheads heroin sales

ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- A second person has been indicted in connection to the Horseheads Deputy Fire Chief's arrest for allegedly selling heroin in the Town of Horseheads. 

The Chemung County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday a Grand Jury has indicted 44-year-old Keough Hallock on three counts Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree.  

According to the indictment, Hallock knowingly sold heroin in the Town of Horseheads on October 21st, 26th and 27th in 2016. 

She is a co-defendant of Thomas Margeson, who was arrested on Monday for allegedly selling heroin in the Town of Horseheads following a 10 month investigation by the Chemung County Sheriff's Office.

Margeson has since been suspended from his position with the Village of Horseheads Fire Department, and from his role as a Lieutenant with the City of Corning Fire Department.

Hallock was arraigned today in Chemung County Court and is currently is the Chemung County Jail. 

Her next court appearance is set for October 23rd. Margeson's next court appearance is scheduled for October 16th.
