(WENY)-- Good news for your wallet this morning, the national average for a gallon of gas continues to drop.
According to AAA, the average national price per gallon dropped 6 cents since last week. That brings the national average price to $2.49 per gallon. In New York, prices at the pump have dropped an average of 4 cents to $2.70 per gallon. In Pennsylvania, drivers can expect to pay 5 cents less. The average in the Keystone State sits at $2.71 cents per gallon.
Gas prices rose following the recent devastating hurricanes, but have consistently dropped over the past few weeks.
