Arctic League looking for 2017 Christmas Tree

ELMIRA, NY (WENY) - The Arctic League is looking for its 2017 Christmas Tree.

The Christmas Tree will be a part of the Arctic League's annual broadcast on December 3rd. The tree should be 10-12 feet tall and it must be located in Chemung County.

Members of the Elmira Little Theater will decorate the tree with decorations provided by Julie Delgrosso, owner of the Christmas House. The tree's contributor will be recognized during the broadcast.

If you would like to submit your tree for consideration, contact Arctic League team member Tom Seem at (607) 562-8082 or tomseem@gmail.com. The Arctic League asks that you provide a description of the tree, and its location and your telephone number. 

Members of the Arctic League's Broadcast Committee will review the nominated trees on November 20th. The selected tree will be cut down and transported to the Clemens Center on November 29th.

Tree nominations must be made by November 17th.
