HORNELL, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Hornell man is behind bars after he allegedly sold heroin and other opiates.
Police arrested 24-year-old Jared Green following an investigation into a drug overdose that happened on November 5th.
According to Hornell Police, officers recovered a large amount of heroin, suspected opiates, packaging material and a cell phone they believe belonged to Green.
He is now facing a slew of charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Green was arraigned in Hornell City Court. He was sent to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
He will reappear in court on November 16th.
