ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York officials are coordinating a statewide drive to gather toys and clothes for needy families.
The state Office of General Services is setting up drop-off locations across the state on Monday to collect new unwrapped toys, coats and school supplies. The collection continues through Dec. 15.
There are drop-off locations in Albany, Schenectady, Watertown, Utica, Poughkeepsie, Hornell, Binghamton, Rochester, Oneonta, Buffalo, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Hauppauge, on Long Island.
In the Southern Tier, donations can be made at the Henderson-Smith State Office Building, in Hornell or the Binghamton State Office Building.
