Three accused of stealing merchandise from Bon Ton

BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) - Three Elmira residents are facing charges for allegedly stealing from the Bon Ton at the Arnot Mall.

21-year-old Ashley Driscoll, a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old man are accused of working together to steal merchandise from the store on November 24th. According to the Chemung County Sheriff's Office, that merchandise is valued at about $1,700.

The three were employees of Bon Ton at the time. They are each charged with 4th degree Grand Larceny.

The two teens are also accused of stealing cash from a cash register.

All three were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to reappear in court later this month.
