Hornell woman arrested for stealing from local business

HORNELL, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Hornell Woman was sent to jail for allegedly stealing form a local business.

The Steuben County Sheriff's Office says 48-year-old Carol LaMont was charged with three counts of grand larceny and a count of criminal mischief.

LaMont is accused of stealing from a Hornellsville area business. There's no word on what she allegedly stole, or the value of the property.

She was arraigned and sent to the Steuben County Jail on $1,000 bail.
