3 in the Twin Tiers Accused of Writing Bad Checks

Athens, P.A. (WENY) - Two people in the Northern Tier and one person in the Southern Tier have been accused of writing bad checks.

According to police 28-year old Matthew Tassone and 29-year old Danielle Hadlock, both of Mount Carmel, and 34-year old Trudy Rose of Elmira wrote checks knowing there were no funds in the accounts. 

Police say they used the checks at multiple Dandy Mini Mart locations and a Walmart in Athens in September. All three have been charged.
