Finger Lakes, N.Y. (WENY)-- There are several events happening in our area coming up to help you close out 2017 and start 2018 with some fun.

First, 2300 Degrees at the Corning Museum of Glass is happening Thursday, December 21st at the Corning Museum of Glass from 6pm-8pm. Gather with friends and family while enjoying music by The Weber Brothers and The Variables. There will also be live glassmaking demonstrations by guest artist Nisha Bansil who explores pattern, form, and structure in the Amphitheater Hot Shop, as well as great food and drink.  2300 Degrees is free and open to the public.

On Friday, December 29th, you're invited to the Urban Arts Crawl to cure that holiday hangover. It's happening from 6pm-8pm throughout Corning's Gaffer District. There will be artist talks, demonstrations, exhibition openings, public art projects, craft beverage tastings and more. Whether you’re a seasoned art collector or just out to see something different, the Urban Arts Crawl in Corning will spark your creative side. The stops are the Rockwell Museum, West End Gallery, ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes, and Exhibit A.

The Corning Winter Farm Market continues in January on the 6th, 13th, and 20th. You'll find local vegetables, fruits, meats, breads, preserves, honey & more. It runs from 11am-3pm in Centerway Square.

Time is running out to check out Tiffany's Glass Mosaics at the Corning Museum of Glass. Experience the grandeur of Tiffany's showrooms, walking by one of the floor-to-ceiling mosaic columns gracing the entrance to the Manhattan retail store from the early 1900s. Be transported to architectural sites around the Northeast - many within driving distance of Corning - and discover stories behind the radiant mosaic figures created by Tiffany's artisans. Start your Tiffany Trip at The Corning Museum of Glass, then plan your stops to see Tiffany's glass mosaics across New York State. The exhibit ends on January 7th.
